Star Wars – A Critical Mission – Sunday Night Football

Goal: Animate and cleanup various aspects of BB-8 rolling through the Sunday Night Football studios.  Feel so blessed to have been able to work on this!

Solution: I replaced BB-8’s lower body (the robot was shot on set) with a 3d model, in order to simulate a faster roll, and brighter colors on the body.  I also added a bunch of various retouches to numerous background elements.  I’m pretty sure I had a big goofy smile on my face throughout the length of this project..

Role: Animation, 3D Modeling, Motion Tracking, Camera Tracking, Compositing, Body Replacement, Rotoscoping.
